Open dialogue & stop motion animation of words, linked to unlikely neighbors that become allies overnight, are unusual in poetry.

That’s part of what makes mine stand out, which is what it’s all about. In better realms, it would be celebrated but never competed with as it is now If you’ve ever taken my poetry seriously or read it out of curiosity, even if it wasn’t your style, I’m positive you were at least a bit impressed for a little lifeless while.

You forge a small smile.

It’s excellent. You’re a gifted, beautiful soul. I’ve told you that

I thought you didn’t mean it

Because no one else ever has

Correct.

Well let’s fix that

I need to be lazy today

I just care & I want you to feel safe

I do feel safe with you. I always have. I never sleep in a strangers arms like that, that fast. I am often always haunted by the ghostly past of my guilty mistakes that I have been unusually pardoned for in the most sincere ways.
